Igniting Entrepreneurship in Food and Agtech

Tuesday, November 29, 2016
4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

UC DAVIS

This quarterly networking series showcases UC Davis entrepreneurs who have successfully launched companies based on their research. Their startups focus on solving challenges in food and agricultural production.

Nitin Nitin, a professor of food science and technology, will discuss his experience with entrepreneurship at UC Davis, followed by presentations by AstRoNA Bio and two companies Nitin helped found, Sonanutech and InnovaNutra.

All UC Davis students, researchers, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend, as well as those in the greater Sacramento region interested in food and agtech. A networking session with refreshments will follow the seminar.

Igniting Entrepreneurship is in partnership with UC Davis' Venture Catalyst and the Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
