Who's driving America's food and agtech innovation?

Melissa Tilney, AgFunder

The Sutter Club

The World Food Center is partnering with law and accounting firms Stoel Rives and Moss Adams to bring local business leaders together to share their perspectives on how to better connect the region's highway of innovation: from UC Davis science to Silicon Valley tech investment and Central Valley agriculture.

In 2015 alone, agtech investment nearly doubled to $2.9 billion. With UC Davis partnering on new agtech accelerators as far away as North Carolina, the opportunity to turn the Sacramento region into the nation's hub for food and agtech innovation is not to be missed.

Keynote speakers from the AgFunder agtech marketplace and the Sonoma Brands food incubator will open the conversation for this evening event, followed by a panel discussion with leaders from local food innovation and agtech startups and time for attendees to share perspectives and network. This is a special invitation event only.
