Seminar: Advancing the California Climate Scoping Plan
"Research to inform how California agriculture & working lands can contribute to state climate targets"
Tuesday, October 25, 2016
11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
In February, 2016, the World Food Center hosted a forum together with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, the Air Resources Board and the Department of Conservation to take stock of the science behind meeting California’s Assembly Bill 32 climate plan. The goal was to inform strategies in the agriculture and working lands sector for meeting California's new 2030 targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions under the plan.
The seminar will include an overview of the findings and a panel discussion with UC Davis faculty members involved in the workshop. The event is part of the UC Davis Capitol Speaker Series.
