A UC Davis faculty delegation recently visited Weifang, China, to scope priorities for a new collaborative effort in agriculture, veterinary and food sciences. Join this debrief from the team to learn more about opportunities available to UC Davis faculty for funding of collaborative efforts in the Shandong region of China.
Through the World Food Center, Weifang will transfer funding directly to UC Davis to support faculty-led research, extension, and training projects that benefit Weifang agroindustries. Faculty may work with companies in this region or Chinese universities from other regions in ways that address constraints or opportunities for sustainable and high-value crop or livestock production, food safety and food processing. The World Food Center will issue a call for proposals to UC Davis faculty based on the priorities identified by this team on their recent visit.
