World Food Center Strategic Plan

Since the World Food Center's revitalization within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in 2017, the center has established a series of successful pilot programs to foster university-wide interdisciplinary engagement. UC Davis has embraced the World Food Center as an important vehicle for implementing university-wide goals of tapping into the depth of food and agriculture scholarship and extension, developing partnerships in research and innovation, and raising the visibility of the university's expertise and resources in food systems.

With this in mind, the World Food Center has developed a strategic plan to support the next five years of its leadership. The plan incorporates feedback from extensive consultation with over 100 UC Davis leaders, including department heads, center directors, and faculty and staff, garnered over the course of two years.
