Addressing Public Perceptions of Modern Agriculture

In collaboration with the UC Davis College of Biological Sciences, College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences, Seed Biotechnology Center, and Institute for Food and Agricultural Literacy, the World Food Center hosted a panel discussion centered on how the public perceives modern agriculture, with emphasis on genetically modified crops and food.

Panelists included Dr. Channapatna Prakash of Tuskegee University, named one of the top 30 social influencers in biotech and pharma by the Huffington Post, and Dr. Gurdev Khush, UC Davis Professor Emeritus and World Food Prize recipient.
